accommodation A thing or service provided by a hotel, restaurant, etc., to meet the needs of guests.  ■ "I asked for extra pillows in my accommodation and they gave me an entire mattress."

addendum An addition to something, often a humorous or sarcastic comment.  ■ When the customer complained about the slow service, the waiter replied with an addendum: "I'm sorry, but you must have forgotten that we're running on server time."

Advertising The act of promoting a product, service, or idea by paying someone else to do so.  ■ "I'm sorry, I have to interrupt this program to bring you an important message: more advertising! More advertising!"

Appreciation An expression of admiration or approval for someone or something.  ■ "The customer expressed their appreciation for our excellent service."

cancelled To have been declared unfit for use or service, often due to some failure.  ■ "I can't believe my car was cancelled after only two weeks of use!"

Churches A large building where people go to worship.  ■ After missing the Sunday service, John decided to visit every church in town to make up for lost time.

criteria A set of rules or standards used to judge something.  ■ For a restaurant to receive five stars on Yelp, it must meet certain criteria such as having great food, excellent service, and affordable prices.

demo A public display of a product or service, typically for the purpose of soliciting sales.  ■ "I'm sorry to say, but this demo was so boring I fell asleep after the first 10 minutes."

Deployed To place an object or person in a position of service.  ■ After months of training, the soldiers were finally deployed to Iraq.

discount A reduction in the price of an item or service, often to attract customers.  ■ "I'm sorry, but I can only offer you a 50% discount on your purchase. Please consider buying something else."

displeased Feeling irritated or unhappy because something does not meet one's expectations.  ■ "I was displeased with the service at this restaurant. The waiter forgot to bring me my water and the food arrived cold."

Dissatisfied Feeling or expressing displeasure, disappointment, or frustration with something or someone.  ■ "I'm so dissatisfied with this restaurant," said John. "The food was cold and the service was slow."

Elaborate To provide more information or details about something, usually in a formal manner.  ■ After the job interview, the candidate decided to elaborate on their experience working in customer service for three years.

enlisted To be officially joined in a military service.  ■ "He enlisted in the army when he was 18 and went on to become a drill sergeant."

Evaluated To make fun of or criticize someone or something in a sarcastic way.  ■ "I evaluated the restaurant's service and decided it was terrible."

expiration The date on which a product or service is no longer valid.  ■ "I forgot to check the expiration date on my passport and now I can't go to Europe."

explicitly In an extremely clear and direct manner, without any ambiguity or subtlety.  ■ "I want to know exactly how much you're charging for that service. Can you explicitly state the price?"

fee A humorous word used to refer to a charge or payment for a service or product.  ■ "I'm sorry, but the fee for this clown show is $10 per seat. Would you like me to book it for you?"

Feudal A system of government and social organization in which land ownership is tied to military service.  ■ The feudal system may seem outdated, but it's still alive and well in the world of fantasy literature.

fiver A person who always gives a tip of $5 or more, regardless of the cost of the service.  ■ "I can't believe you didn't give the barber a fiver for that great shave!

gripes A list of complaints or criticisms, often expressed with exaggerated dissatisfaction.  ■ "I have a long list of gripes about this new restaurant - the food was cold, the service was slow, and the prices were way too high."

Impregnated To be filled or tainted with something to the point of being completely contaminated.  ■ "The cat was impregnated with a deep sense of indifference after spending hours on hold with customer service."

interaction The act of exchanging ideas or information between two people, groups, or entities.  ■ "I had a hilarious interaction with the customer service representative today. He kept giving me confusing answers and I couldn't stop laughing at his jokes."

jingle A short, cheerful tune or catchy melody used to advertise a product or service.  ■ "The jingle for the new car commercial is so catchy, I've been humming it all day!"

Legion A large group of people or things, often in military service.  ■ The legion of trolls marched into the town and began to wreak havoc. They were known for their fearsome strength and their love of all things destructive.

Like A very strong feeling of approval or admiration for someone or something, often expressed through the use of the word "like".  ■ "I like that new restaurant downtown. The food is amazing and the service is top-notch."

Peddling The act of selling a product or service by making an obnoxious sales pitch and harassing potential customers.  ■ John's neighbor was peddling his homemade jams door-to-door, but nobody wanted to buy them because they tasted like garbage.

psalm A long and boring speech given by a religious leader at a church service.  ■ "Brother John's psalm was so dull, I fell asleep before he even finished the first verse."

pumps An act of self-promotion or hype for a product, service, or event.  ■ "We're really pumping our new album!" said the pop star, clearly excited to get people talking about their latest release.

Pushers A person who persistently urges others to buy or use a product or service, often by offering discounts or incentives.  ■ "I can't stand pushers. They always try to sell me something I don't need."

Rates The amount charged per unit of something, such as a product or service.  ■ "I'm sorry, but your rate is too high for me to afford this product."

ratings A numerical evaluation of the quality or performance of a product, service, or individual.  ■ "I gave that movie a four out of five ratings because it was really funny!"

refund A large sum of money returned to the original buyer of a product or service.  ■ John was so unhappy with his new car that he demanded a full refund.

Rights The privilege or permission to do something, especially without obligation.  ■ I have the right to complain about the service, but I won't because I'm afraid I might be labeled a "difficult customer".

Selling The act of persuading someone to part with their money in exchange for a product or service, often through false promises or deceitful tactics.  ■ "I'm selling the idea that we should go on a vacation to the beach."

sermons A collection of witty and humorous sayings, often delivered in a preachy or condescending manner.  ■ "His sermons were so funny that the entire congregation couldn't stop laughing during the service."

Server A person or thing that provides service, especially in a restaurant or hotel.  ■ Last night, I asked the server for extra cheese and he gave me an extra large portion of sarcasm. It was hilarious!

shipment A large box of stuff sent through the postal service. Also known as a package, parcel, or cargo.  ■ "I can't wait for my shipment of pizza to arrive! I've been craving it all week."

splendid Something that is extraordinarily impressive, beautiful or excellent.  ■ "I'm so glad I chose this hotel because it has a splendid view of the city skyline. And the room service is out of this world!"

sponsored A type of advertising or marketing that involves paying someone or something to promote a product or service.  ■ "I'm really excited about this new sponsored post I just wrote for the company. It's going to be hilarious!"

Staffed A place that has a large number of employees, often in customer service roles.  ■ "The new Amazon warehouse is staffed with over 1000 people, making it the largest single employer in the city."

Subscriptions A monthly fee paid to access a service, product or content.  ■ I have subscribed to so many magazines, but I never seem to find the time to read them. It's like my life is a never-ending subscription cycle!

Summarily To provide a brief summary or overview of something, often in an amusing or sarcastic way.  ■ "The customer service was summarily unhelpful and left me stranded at the airport with no luggage."
